1. Acquisition and Utilization Purpose of Personal Information
The Company will acquire personal information through lawful and fair means. The utilization purposes are as follows.
ⅰ. Personal information of customers
- (i) For accepting and examining applications for registration related to the services provided by the Company, including Seven Net Shopping and Seven-Meal, 7NOW (7-Eleven ’s Online Convenience Store) (such services are hereinafter referred to as the “Services”), and identity verification and authentication therefor.
- (ii)For providing the Services, including presentation, order acceptance and shipping of the products provided in the Services.
- (iii) For maintaining and improving the Services, and developing and improving the products and services provided by the Company.
- (iv)For providing information concerning the Services, communicating concerning the billing for the Services, responding to inquiries concerning the Services, and providing information about changes, etc. in various terms and conditions applicable to the Services.
- (v) For communicating concerning the storage or later delivery of goods provided in the Services or goods provided by the Company.
- (vi)For providing information on various events implemented by the Company or third parties, communicating with applicants and participants of such events, sending and providing premiums and gifts, etc., and carrying out other activities for holding events.
- (vii)For advertising the Company, domestic subsidiaries of Seven & i Holdings Co., Ltd. (meaning the domestic entities in which Seven & i Holdings Co., Ltd. directly or indirectly invest, specifically those companies listed on https://www.7andi.com/group/group_list.html; hereinafter referred to as the “Group Companies”), 7-Eleven franchise stores, and other third parties (including making proposals on advertisements, promotions, and products, etc. tailored to customers by analyzing information such as customers’ purchase records and history of browsing websites, etc.
- (viii)For collecting the customers’ opinions and comments concerning the products and services, such as questionnaires for the Company, the Group Companies, 7-Eleven franchise stores, and other third parties.
- (ix)For analyzing the sales and customer trends, etc. of the products and services for the Company, the Group Companies, 7-Eleven franchise stores, and other third parties.
- (x) For purposes accompanying the purposes listed above.

2. Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties
ⅰ. The Company will not provide personal information to third parties without the information subject’s consent, except in the following circumstances.
- 1.When required by law or regulation
- 2.When necessary to protect a person’s life, body, or property, and obtaining the information subject’s content is difficult
- 3.When specifically necessary to enhance public health or promote the sound development of children, and obtaining the information subject’s consent is difficult

In addition, the Company will share 7iD member information within the group companies as defined within "7iD会員情報の取扱いについて".
4. Creation and Provision of Anonymously Processed Information
The Company will continuously create and provide to third parties, as follows, the information that is produced by processing personal information of customers in accordance with laws and regulations so that it cannot identify specific individuals or be restored to the original personal information (anonymously processed information).
(1)Items of information relating to individuals included in anonymously processed information
Gender, year and month of birth membership number, purchase record
(2)Method of providing information
The Company will provide the information either by storing the relevant data in the Company’s environment and setting access authority therefor or by transmitting the relevant data to the server managed by the third-party recipient.
5. Security Control Measures
The main security measures implemented by the Company to prevent the leakage, loss or damage of personal information are as follows.
ⅰ Establishment of various internal policies and regulations
Establish procedures for personal information handling throughout its lifecycle, including acquisition, utilization, storage, provision, deletion, disposal.
ⅱ Systematic security control measures
The Company will establish a dedicated management department and assign a responsible officer for personal information handling. Moreover, the Company will implement a reporting and communication system to notify this department and officer should any violations or indications of violations of laws and regulations be detected. Furthermore, the Company will operate a verification process to monitor personal information handling practices.
ⅲ Human security control measures
The Company will incorporate precautions for handling personal information and confidentiality requirements into various regulations, and provide regular training to all executives and employees.
ⅳ Physical security control measures
The Company will restrict access to designated areas where personal information is handled implementing measures, including locking, monitoring, and entry/exit controls. Moreover, measures to prevent theft or loss are implemented when using devices, electronic media, documents containing personal information.
ⅴ Technical security control measures
The Company will implement access controls for personal information, thereby limiting access to authorized executives and employees. Moreover, the Company will introduce mechanisms to protect information systems that handle personal information from unauthorized access.
ⅵ Adaptation to the external environment
When handling personal information in a foreign country, the Company will understand the local data regulations and periodically review and revise necessary security measures to ensure appropriate protection.
6. Disclosure / Correction / Suspension of Use / Inquiries Regarding Retained Personal Data the Business Holds
ⅰ When you request disclosure, correction, addition, deletion, suspension of use, objection to third-party provision, or disclosure of third-party provision records for your personal data the business holds under the Act on the Protection of Personal Information, the Company will verify your identity and confirm that the request meets the requirements to promptly disclose the requested information or perform the necessary corrections, deletions, or use restrictions to the extent required.
Notwithstanding the above, the Company may be exempt from these obligations as provided for by the Act on the Protection of Personal Information or other applicable laws and regulations.
